im really thinking about painting them but not sure.

and if i paint them, what bases should i use? gw says use the bases the minis came with (25 mm).

Put them on 40mm bases.

Apart from painting them, what else can you do with them? Sell them? Fling them over a rainbow?

Put them in a sock. Its what Luke and JJ would do. But yeah, 40mm bases, sell them, etc.
