The plural of Army is Armies. Army's is the possessive.

Thank you for catching this before I did.

The most iconic armies in 40k changes a bit. In second edition it was Orks and Marines, and it is again in 5th edition. 4th edition had Tyranids and Marines as the iconic races. It might have been Chaos and Marines in 3rd edition, what with Chaos getting two different rulebooks.

No, Tau get no love, we get mid/late-edition codexes that are outdated in 4-8 months. . .

Agreed. Its a bit annoying now. We are supposed to be the best shooting army out there (or one of the best) but our shooting abilities are no better than anyone else's. And we have to almost completely forgo close combat, and 5th ed put a lot of focus into CC.
Its ridiculous.

...urrrr... I dunno

Space Marines. let's face it, nothing sells products like the iconic super-soldier look, which is basically what the marines are there to do, besides kicking seven shades of &*^% out of the enemies of the Imperium in the fluff.

And orks. Why? Orks are cool.

Obviously Space Marines, as said, the 2nd changes from time to time.

And please, can we stop the Tau griping, it's not the place and other armies need love more.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

Anyway for me marines and orks

Zweischneid wrote:No way man. A Space Marine in itself is scary. But a Marine WITHOUT helmet wears at least 3-times as much plot-armour as a Marine with helmet. And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.
