Recently I started reading horus heresy; couple of qs

Reavers are Titans. Giant war walkers like this one.

Isn't Ekkadon a marine captain if he is then it's probably a squad name or a nickname for his company.

Abnett is addicted to the phrase "only in death" beacause it's grimdark. The full phrase is "only in death does duty end"

Ekkadon is NOT a Reaver Titan captain-rather, I think he is captain of the Legions Jump pack veterans.
