I use alot of website forums and this is the only site where if you comment on a thread it takes it to the top of the list in the forum page. My suggestion is to get rid of this. It probably is a big job for the guys who make the site and may not be worth it... But, if I want to see a week old post then I will take the time to scroll through the list of topics.
I think the reason for me finding this so agrivating is that I collect dark eldar. A thread about space marines (which are alot popular) will get lots of comments; thus being at the top of the page for a while. whereas the little amount of DE topics will be pushed to the bottom.

Anyways this is just a suggestion and I think the site is fantastic and will still use it for years to come!!

So you're suggesting that a topic be pushed off the first page, even if it is being constantly commented on? No thanks.

In a sense, yes. If there's a thread I'm not intrested in I dont want to be reading the title for the next two weeks. Just a suggestion though. Dakka users might like it how it is, if thats the case, I'm going to have to get used to it =)

Isn't that why we have the subscribed threads?
Assuming you're interested in DE, you'll post on a said thread or read it at least, thus having it marked under your subscribed threads.

I see no reason to change honestly.

Well the reason it stays at the top for two weeks, despite the fact that you don't like it, means that everyone else likes it. As far as I know this is how most forums work - you're probably going to have to get used to it.

You're dumb. That's why it's called the recent thread page.

Nobody is talking about the recent threads page. We're talking about every page.
