What colors are you trying to match? A picture would help. Even if we didn't paint it, offering advice on color matching generally isn't too bad.

Great stuff. Nice, deep red without looking too dark and flat. I lurked for quite a while before posting, but if my work looked like your WIPs, I'd spend more time painting and less pouring over Dakka for advice and inspiration.

I would like to paint the genestealers like gamesworkshop. The broodlord especially.
The tutorial on their site isn't what i need. I've found loads of people ask this question, cant seem to find any answers.

Armour is scab red, then mix in blood red, blood red mixed with orange for edges, watered baal wash, vomit brown extreme highlight.

I also paint nids
