I'm trying to make a vehicle-friendly small scale skirmish game primarily set in the apocalyptic wastelands.
I'd love to have some collaboration on this, maybe some suggestions and... yeah. I'll be making a pdf of the rules that will be free to download for anyone who is interested.
Also, I've borrowed some rules from Vor and No limits, and I'm adapting them to a small scale.
Anyway, the rules. It's a mix between roleplaying and miniature gaming; you buy a statline for each model and then buy a number of traits and equipment. An average crew will have 5-6 well equipt members.
Here's an average statline statline:
AV I S E W F A
10 3 3 3 10 5 1
AV- Action Value in inches. Each model can move this many inches, or use these points to shoot, melee, use cover, etc.
I- Initiative. Highest model gets a free strike in CC
S- Strength. Primarily used in CC, by adding number to rolls to damage your opponent.
E- Endurance. Subtracting number from opponent's rolls in CC.
W- Wounds. Number of wounds model has.
F- Fatigue. Number of inches moved before model fatigued. Equal to Endurance+2
A- Maximum number of attacks a model can do in CC per turn.
Shooting:
AV listed below is for one "shot"; you can shoot as much as you want in a turn as long as you have AV left.
Rolled on a 10-sided die, the goal is to roll low. The BS listed below is the number you need to roll or lower to successfully hit.
BS Name AV Dmg
3 Pistol 2 1
4 Rifle 3 2
5 Fully Automatic 4 3

More to come later today, including modifiers to BS, a major component of shooting.
