Awsome, I love the tone of the blue/purple highlights on the stealers.

Wow........ Outstanding.

This game is the reason i'm playing wargames, seeing the rerelease of this made me buy that issue of white dwarf then a week later get outa bed earlie on a saturday to get to the store and bag a copy of the game.

I aint started painting mine yet, as i wont to improve my painting first, But seriously, they look outstanding.

May i ask how you did the stealers?

The blue on the stealers is really vibrant, care to share the receipt?

Not too sure about the libby though, while the blending is great I can't get a good feel as to where the light is supposed to come from. Especially his back seems... weird?

They aren't conversions, the models are all from the limited edition Space Hulk release at the end of last year.

That Aside, the highlighting on those models is phenomenal, especially the librarian.

Thanks for the kind comments.

@Smillie: Cheers.

@deejaybainbridge: Thanks. The stealers - Carapace: Enchanted Blue base, wash with a mix of asurmen Blue, Badabl Black, highlight with mixes of enchanted Blue and white up to pure white. Skin: Dheneb Stone base, wash with leviathan purple (throw in some baal red if you feel like it), highlight using only bleached bone (with a hint of leviathan purple if you went for a darker shade) up to pure white.

@mLuds: Thanks but as someone else pointed out, there are no conversions to this set.

@Tzarinchilla: He expressed that he's pleased so far.

@Savis: Posted the blue earlier in this thread. Hmm, about that lighting...I think the red is a bit off-putting in that regard as well as the ....bum plate. I might have to work that over again.

@Old Man Ultramarine: Thanks, old man.

@Goliath: Cheers.

@vleermie: Merci.

Update!

Beautiful work! A much different style than my own version of this project, I chose to focus on a dirtier look, less extreme highlighting... Now you are giving me serious second thoughts on my style choice, those guys look great!

Look forward to seeing the finished products, especially the librarian.

Cheers!
