Wow, nice how did you paint the heat marks on the plasma cannon?, it looks awsome!
Your highlighting makes it appear worn (which is a good thing), but the lack of mud on the lower section of the tank makes it look kind of unfinished.

The heat marking is really easy - I just wash the whole area with Gryphonne Sepia, then Devlan Mud over most of it, leaving the edges still sepia. Then Badab Black over the very end of the barrel. As for weathering, I'm not quite there yet! I'll probably have to try it out on some cheapy models to get the technique down.
Next up on my to do list is the converted Sly Marbo, which I'm going to keep as a surprise til I'm done with it - I think it'll turn a lot of heads around here

They've even drawn the Plasma Cannons on upside down on the Codex diagram of the Executioner.

Really nice work. And those treads would look great with some decent weathering on them.
How easy was it to do the magnetizing?

Magnetizing really wasn't that hard - I just cut out a chunk in each sponson gun, and put a magnet in behind each sponson housing. I did pretty much the same thing for the main guns. This kit was pretty much made to be magnetized, so it wasn't much of a hassle. Thanks for the weathering link Citizensmith- it doesn't look hard at all and it could have some good effects.
Thanks for the input everyone!

I just did it on a Russ I was working on. The weathering part is really easy. The trick is when you put sealer on not to do it to heavily as its easy to blow a lot of it away. From reading about it on the blog they, have the recommended thing is to seal your model, then apply the weathering, the apply another light layer of sealer just to hold it in place.
Oh yeah, and with dry pigments, do it over some clean paper. You'll spill plenty of excess which you can then just tap back into the pot.
