Also, i chose the fantasy lord because i always had a liking for dark red armor,
While the 40k one is to bright for my eyes. It maybe the lighting but im not sure.

Fantasy lord by far. It captures that sinister look you want in a lord of Chaos. The 40k one, while painted well, is just.. too bright for my taste.

I have to go with fantasy. Always thought fantasy chaos looked much better than 40k chaos.

This isn't a good comparison, so I don't feel comfortable voting.

With those two specific models with those two specific paintjobs, the fantasy one looks better, but that's not true for all possibilities.

The Fantasy mini is newer and painted in a more modern style. The 40k Lord came out in 3rd edition and has a really bright paint job reflecting that fact. I like the 40k lord better, as he looks more like a lord than just an aspiring champion.

Better for what?

As a straight up comparison, I like the Fantasy guy better.

As a 40K Lord, I like the 40K guy better. Although the Fantasy one would probably make a better lord after a little cosmetic work

Ugh, I absolutely loathe the Fantasy Lord's helmet - gotta cast my vote with the 40K Lord.

My vote is for the fantasy figure. I like the red on it and the pose looks cool.

I hate almost all guys without helmets, so the vote auto-goes to the fantasy one.

I voted the Fantasy model. However, the 40k one might be cooler if he had a helmet on.
