Hi,
Gamezone Miniatures makes a lot of models that are nice alternatives to GW's Warhammer Fantasy models (in the case of Daemons for 40k as well). They have now released a bunch of metal "Daemonic Huntresses" (8.50 Euro each except Adalid: 5.50 Euro):

Daemonic Huntresses set 1:

Daemonic Huntresses set 2:

Daemonic Huntress Herold:

Daemonic Huntress standard:

Daemonic Huntress Adalid:

They have also done Seekers not ong ago:
http://www.gamezoneminiatures.de/index.php/cat/c54_Cavalry.html

Gamezone is reknown for excellent sculpts that can at times be challenging to build (e.g. because of small base contact or warped moulds that make greenstuffing or bending necessary).

Personally I would rate them halfway between the current and the cute GW models.

Gamezone Sculpts are always amazing, difficult to paint, and always great fun.

Well, they're a bit all right.

Really wish Gamezone would invest in some decent photos.

The Huntress on the right in the first pic looks oddly posed at that angle, otherwise the sculpts are all pretty good and dynamic.

The Herald is a super cool fig. Very well executed I think.

The Standard Bearer is well done as well, although rather cliched.

The Adalid (whatever an adalid is) is nice as well. Suitably fancier looking Huntress to be the boss, but not as cool as the Herald.

They are nice sculpts but look more like wyches to me. Very dynamic poses are a big plus.

The pictures are too small.

From what I can see, they look more Dark Eldar than Daemonette.

Very dynamic. Better pictures and I would be able to make a decision to buy them.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

They look more like creatures of the ephemeral warp than proper "daemons". Which maybe sounds odd. What I mean is that they don't really look like GW's previous-edition daemonettes (and let's face it, those are the only daemonettes worth talking about) because those daemonettes were too natural-looking. GW's daemonettes looked like daemons trying to tempt mortals with comely if twisted forms. These look more like denizens of an otherworldly realm that just happen to be female. Not that they're bad, just different.

The poses are good. I feel some of the breasts are a touch oversized. Particularly the running one in the first picture and the standing one in the second. Not bad by any stretch and certainly leagues more realistic than most miniatures' breasts, but they do look a bit silicone none-the-less. I know it's a trivial complaint, but they do add a feeling of fanboi-ness to what could otherwise be truly great minis.

I also feel like their armour is a bit too heavy for the poses they're in. It looks weighty and bulky. It strikes me as odd that creatures with weapons built into their hands would need to strap on armour anyway (how are they going to tie it?). I'd like to see the armour streamlined a bit.

"White Lions: They're Better Than Cancer!" is not exactly a compelling marketing slogan. - AlexHolker

This. Not quite chaotic enough to be Daemonettes.

I dig 'em, though the last three are quite a bit better than the RNF IMO. Well done pole-dancer standard especially

If anything, this shows the importance of good studio paintjobs as sales tools.

"größer Bilder bitte !"

their problem is not the small photo, GZ models are lack of fine details compare to others ,when they make bigger pictures people will see the flaws ,its just a cover up technic.

I own Gamezone's Mournful Knights , Zombie Wolfs and several of the Knights minis; and I have to disagree on their models lacking detail. Gameszone's minis are superior to most GW sculpts in detailing and typically far ahead in anatomical correctness as well. Now, they are absurdly hard to assemble, have horrible seam issues, an made from cheap alloy, but the sculpts are brilliant.

Honestly, I just don't care for these sculpts though. They look more Khorne than Slaanesh to my eyes, despite the exposed jiggly bits.

As opposed to the current GW Daemonettes, which look more Nurgle than Slaanesh? I'll take these over the current line of GW daemonettes.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

other things , you may notice that there is few painted GZ models on CMON , think why?

This may be a lacklustre release, but please, look at some of their other releases.

Seriously, Gamezone's Mournful Knights are some of the best minis I've ever painted (It's a shame I didn't paint them as well as I should have. I need to repaint them, they deserve better), and their Thermatauge is one of the most brilliant sculpts I've ever seen--and it's all over CMON.

And their wolves are pretty damn awesome too.

Could you tell me which gamezone mini that is? I just looked over their site and couldn't find anything like that.

Also, in terms of detail, I think this looks pretty detailed to me:

this one
http://www.gamezoneminiatures.de/product_info.php/info/p474_J-gerin-auf-d-monischem-Pferd-Musikerin.html

I bought the whole set of the daemonette riders, the quality is the same.

I didnt say that GZ models dont have details ,by fine details I mean the details are sharp and clean ,ie you can feel the difference between Reaper and Freebooter minis, although made by the same Werner Klocke ,FB minis got finer details, and this is very important for high quality painting, a lot of skills require of smooth and clean surface on the mini.

I didnt saw all of the GZ models, it could be some among them are nice, however I didnt find any of these Mournful Knights are above 8 on CMON .

Nice, they have the feel of the better looking, older (but not 4th edition old) models but are large enough to justify the 25mm base.

Um, you understand the chief complaint is with GZM not being able to publish a nice, big picture of the minis, not with the minis themselves, right?

So asking us to look at other stuff, when GZM doesn't take good pictures is kinda ironic.

They used to post videos of each new release on youtube, but they stopped this one year ago:
http://www.youtube.com/user/gamezoneminiatures .
Also their major website is under construction for a year: http://www.gamezoneminiatures.com/Sitio%20web/En%20blanco.html
I took these pics from the German website/webstore: http://www.gamezoneminiatures.de/index.php with pics of limited size.

Frankly, that was even worse than the small pics.

I don't want to have to watch a video to look at the minis. Just a couple of clear, decent sized pictures, that I can click on and ogle at my leisure.

Nicely posed, and it looks like they do have decent detail (the videos are quite helpful).

The larger scale is an issue for me, though.

Sigh. I wish GW just hadn't trashed the old metal models. Couldn't they have just translated them to plastic via a scanner? They weren't THAT detailed, and even smoothed out a bit with software after the scan they would have been much better than the current ones.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
