from my first look at the list i can see your gonna have trouble in just about all aspects of the game...you have only 2 models that have any melee potential, and it looks like your not gonna have any good shooting from turn to turn. and yes i know you haven't figured out what your gear is on your stuff. your regular jetbikes wont be doing anything worth while as they are very easy to pop even if you turbo boost all over the place or even leave them in reserve. while if you do leave them in reserve then you really wont have that many targets from your opponents view.
ive always liked the vipers but imo are not worth it...even in a squad it only takes one good hit to make them ineffective. it would be better to make 3 squads of 2 out of them for a little better surviability. and try to designate each unit to perform one task...like maybe one for tank hunting and the others for anti infantry. your prisms are alright, i would suggest holo fields and spirit stones. and try to re-work your troops mainly because a full 10 man squad of jetbikes is a big unit space wise. now if the flight bases were a bit smaller i dont think it would be that big of a problem as the unit is as easily big as a full mob of orc boyz which makes them easy to target from just about anything. and with only a toughness of 4 they are just as easy to take down as a standard marine. also watch out for ordinance blast sized templates. now with your autarchs you will have to make up for the lack of close combat for just in case it comes up. you really cant go wrong here but i would add mandiblaster, laser lance, and maybe a fusion gun. that should do the trick as it gives you anti-tank/MC and added str in cc.
and im sure there is more, but cant really think atm

thx for the feed back
the only reason i thought about jet bikes is so that they can get there quick do a bit of shooting ( i sopose it would be just as good if not better than an ork slugger considering you need fives followed by 4 to W a space marine ) and then during assult phase move back 6 inches so they cant assult me and then shoot them during my next turn and move back again and so on.
I hope that makes sense.

I agree with the previous poster in respect to the Vypers. If you do want to hang onto them, 3 squads of 2 each is a better loadout.
I'm also not too sure what kind of competitive list this will make, it doesn't have much resilience beyond the turboboosting. I'd suggest swapping in a bike-bound seer council to help the list all around. They can bring down about anything, and soak up a lot more fire than anything else in your list.

with what you plan on doing for your jetbikes, is if your with in the 12" range to shoot then so is your opponent and they will easily die to small arms fire fairly quickly. but you have to remember majority of the str on small arms weapons is str 4. and again the unit takes up alot of space and will be very easy to target. also with the same plan, you will most likely get charged as well, getting within the 12" range and back 6" may take you outta threat range, but with the over abundance of melee based armies out there you better plan on getting charged, even more so if you manage to get all 10 guys in shooting range

ya its possible but not sure on your pt total for your posted army...also banshees work better with a doomseer. but if you add them i can honestly say the transport will be the first to go down as its the only one or 2 if you add in 2

in a game where you have a few tanks such as your 2 prisms and 6 vipers, and you only have one transport or 2 they usually go down first just to cause its cargo to essentially be rendered ineffective and are then able to be shot down by small arms fire. which happens very easily when you only have a toughness of 3 and a 4+ sv especially at a 2k game. and once a player commits enough shots to take the transport down thats one less thing to worry bout shooting with your big guns. now if you had say 3+ transports then its a different story, as you will be able to bounce your cargo around from transport to transport as they get shot down.

nope they dont take any troop choices...but just as in any other army if you have very few of a unit that can do multiple things they usually are the first to go

dude not cool...he posted his list even though there are no wargear.it might be confusing to some, but the point of posting most lists is to get help...which is what is happening here. and everyone at one point in time didnt know the rules.
and jde its alright if you dont have a codex, i also make lists and sometimes post them for some help on starting a new army with a different codex as i dont want to make a list and find out that some units are crap and ended up wasting $$$ on something that im never gonna use again. and you seem to have a general idea of what you want to do with your army so i would suggest maybe playing a game or two with proxies and see how the army works for you

Proxies are where you use something to represent a unit or model you don't have.
For example, using a book to represent a grav-tank, a unit of IG troops to represent a unit of Guardians, etc.
It lets you try out different armies/units without having to buy them first - usually you can only do this if you are playing a friendly game against someone you know

Speaking from personal experience, this list will fail you hard for a single reason... Guardian Jetbikes get CRUSHED in close combat. You WILL get cornered eventually or face jetpack assault, or a winged demon on the board etc etc. When that happens they will die a terrible and pathetic death.
That being said I almost always take two packs of:2 GJB, 1 GJB w/ Cannon, Warlock Jetbiker with Spear and embolden. Banking half your points into GJB will result in failsauce in the competitive environment.

Meh, they should be able to bat away at least a unit a turn depending on the enemy army get up. Entirely jetjump armies are quite rare.
Assault range shouldn't be a problem if you have that much fire power. (Granted, I usually take more )
