Well, this will eventually become my thread about my first foray into sculpting, and my continued sculpting efforts, starting off with a squig or two, but first of all, a question: To all you Greenstuff sculptors out there: Where do you store your drying greenstuff overnight? Is there some special environment I can replicate where it doesn't stick to whatever it's on? I've tried leaving it in a moist area, but that makes it take longer to dry. uh, help? for the god, H.A.

If you want it to not stick to whatever it's on, try a thin smear of vaseline on the thing.
The GS will cure and firm up (never really going hard unless you vary the mix with too much of one part) and not stick.

I just leave it in a dry place. I know most (including me) wet their fingers while handling it so some moisture gets on it, but a dry environment would be, from my experience, the best route. After an hour or two, it should be set.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

The yellow and blue components will always be a bit sticky.
Best keep them in an airtight container and use wet tools/fingers to stop them sticking when portioning them out and mixing.
Finished drying pieces should be stored on cocktail sticks, brassrod or similar.
Top tip! Slow down drying times by keeping excess GS/unfinished pieces in the freezer for a few hours while you take a break, have lunch, decide what to do with it.

If you want to create freestanding GS pieces, either sculpt onto a cocktail stick (so you can just cut the stick so it is flush with the piece when you are done), or sculpt onto one of those plastic wallets you use to file paper in folders. When the GS is dry you can just peel it off the plastic - helps if you use the really smooth plastic folders rather than the textured ones.
