Bastion Studios will be hosting its first ever Ex-Illis open at Gen Con this year.

The open will feature a tournament and painting competition. First prize for each event is $1000 voucher for an online games retailer, second prize is $500.

You got me off-guard there. I was looking for point values and a rules package, and then realized that this was for a gaming system that no one has ever heard of. =p

And then I went searching around the internet for information about it, and realized that there's no wiki, no information anywhere about the gaming system except for a poorly spelled short paragraph written by the game creators that is copied and pasted in a few places....

Your right, not many people have heard of the game (you can't say no-one cuz darn it, I'm somebody). But that is the entire point of conventions, to expose yourself to new games

The game is in its infancy, but as a fan if the game since last gencon, I can see the leaps and bounds by which this game has developed in just a short year.

Lastly - people going to gencon will be trying new games, might as well try one that could win you a grand (if you can beat me)
