Not usually a WHFB player, but i need a change, so looking into skaven.
With the new book out (got it on order) i understand alot has changed about the structure of armies.

With it being % now, can anyone throw me a quick ref. on what types have what % please.


Also, not much of a skaven question here, but how many points are doomwheels please?
Want to work on an idea here for a skyre list (dont play WHFB, but like the fluff)

A max of 25% of the points total of Lords
A max of 25% of the points total of Heros
A min of 25% of the points total of Core
A max of 50% of the points total of Specials
A max of 25% of the points total of Rares

In under 3k points, you can only have 3 of the same special choices and 2 of the same rare choices.

Pretty sure the Doomwheel is 150 points.

Not sure on points here, but 2 WLG's (200?)

So i have a 500 limit, and restricted to no more than 2 of the same.

1 more quick Q:

Do the special and rare restrictions apply over 3k points? (ie: more than 2 of the same rare)

I think at over 3k points, you double the restrictions on Specials and rares (haven't memorized these bits yet, so someone may need to correct me if I'm wrong).

Have to say though, i do like the new system.
Seems to have killed off herohammer, but kinda miss dragons in 2k games. (possible with some armies?)

The only bit i will find annoying is the 25% min troops.
For an army like skaven you need to stack up cheap troop units, then use the specials / rares as the hammers.
