Beacuse I love plunging shells that have plauge and death written all over it and spread it through other ships and planets.

The Wondering Star - a small cutter class ship built for exploration. Lots of shields and defensive weapons (think of the missile/fighter defense flak screens put up by the Battlestar Galactica in the new series), as well as a few lance weapons.
