and i need something to do other than sit and P*** my sister off fun as it is

2. buying all theese i have £5.62 left over from the birthday haul. The box set i dunno if id be able to get an armys worth out of it unless i bought 1 and my mate bought one and then swapped the armys we don't want...

In that case... leave out:
2 clan rat boxes
rat ogre boxes

The battalion have enough clan rats and rat ogres,
the money you save up from not purchasing the 3 boxes should come close to be able to buy the starter set.

Which no doubt have ATLEAST 2 rat ogres , 40 clan rats

I really believe patience in this time will benefit you :x

The only good Skaven Army is a Dwarf Army dressed in the furs of Dead Skaven.

Or
a skaven army dressed in the dead skin of dwarves who are dressed in dead fur of skaven....

this can go on for a LONG time....
so i'll just say i won

Luna is 100% right on this one.
Just grab some things to keep you going until the new set is here.
Not only that, but you can look through the book for a while too.

Last thing you want to do is buy a nice army, then find out you dont like part of it.

The new set does include rat ogres, and number wise people have said 2-3.
So either way, you get a unit of them.

I'd also hold off on the bell for now too.
Wait until you have read about it in detail and worked out how best to use it.

I've... "Borrowed"... a copy of the army book from the internet and have thought of either using the Plauge Furnace with the Plauge Monks from the battalion
and the Screaming bell with like 40 of the clanrats from the starter set or battalion.

Ok i broke down >.<

I've not been able to keep myself saving cash for the Starter set...
i'll get it at Xmas instead

I have however bought a box of Rat Ogres, a Warlock Engineer, a box of Night Runners (dunno what to field them with however. Any Suggestions :/) and another box of Plauge Monks.

Tommorow i SHOULD be getting an army book and a Battalion and something else...
dunno whether to get a Plauge Furnace/Screaming Bell or to get something else instead...

any suggestions :/?

the models in question must cost equal to or less than a Screaming Bell!

Plastic preffered but will buy metal if you think i need to

Depends on what you like.

I always liked gambling-type units. Which Skaven has in huge abundance with their war machines, all of which blow up in pretty cool ways. And they're also very unique to the race.

Skaven magic is really scary IMHO. So getting some Grey Seers are good.

Rat Ogres are fun. Nuff said. They are really nice models.

i was thinking of getting another box of clanrats, fielding them in blocks of 25 - 30 and then using the left over cash to buy alotta movement trays ?

also getting me a Grey seer
