I think its just a lighting difference @Ifurita.

They look great Do you play these guys or are you more of a painter than a player ? (like me)

I just wonder because these are on tall bases and with the Line of Sight rules that would be a disadvantage.

stubby matey ye i got blown up in afghanistan last yr by a i.e.d took part my foot off and busted up my hands pretty bad un the docs where trying to get ways for me to use my hands again. i got board un pissed off with all the normal ways so my girlfriend knew i liked this stuff so went out un bought me a start set of 10 tac marines un ive been painting ever since as part of my rehab. so yep painter by rehab paratrooper by day
