so i play OK and i was looking for an alternate list when i stumbled across Ogre Bull Rhinox Riders
so obviosly, abit of theory hammer came into play... and here you go

Why are the bulls in units of 10? I'm trying to picture the formation you're planning for them, but I'm not seeing it. Rhinox Riders look awesome, there's a few in the case at the Bunker near here, I believe using the rhinox from the scrap launcher kit. They're incredible!

I'd drop the size on the bulls units and upgrade.
the riders need upgrades, so ifonfist is a must to make them last longer, go with the bull rhinox(?) aswell for the extra impact.

I think units of 10 are better because:
They have supporting ranks which means you do S5 Bull Charge, on top of the new Stomp Special Rule. And then you make you normal attacks - with both ranks attacking (courtesy of the horde Special Rule. In addition, this makes them harder to polish off with shooting, and harder to force to take any Panic checks, as Ogre Leadership is rather low.

actually for once i agree with karon, by splitting up yhe units it gives more targets! and with the horde, i wouldnt get any benefits with only 1 rank...

I reckon a big unit is the best option. And put a battle standard and a butcher in there and their almost indistructable. I have used a unit of 10 Bulls, a battle standard bearer and a butcher before and nothing has yet stopped it.
When they charge (they will). Bulls- 41 standard attacks, 10 strength 5 hits (bull charge) and 10 strength 4 stomp attacks. Plus all the charactors attacks and so on. The butcher has awsome magic to upgrade the unit. Imagine a unit of 10 bulls plus charactors with regenorate and toughness 5!!!
Small units do give the enemy more targets but this also means they can isolate your units and destroy them very quikly. Small units of ogres don't pack a punch like a big unit.
This combo works really well and i'd adise using it.

I do like that idea, and the only problem would be points. perhaps in a bigger game, or in my non cavelry OK but at a 2k, id have nothing to cut out of THIS list, however i do like the idea of that combo, and i certainly be using it on my normal 2k :-) ill post that list up next... TY very much, i used to play a tyrant with:
Thundermace
Greedy fist
Mawseeker
Tal of Prot for 311 points but it wasnt often that i needed the TM so i thought ill make him a skilled swordsman1 lol
i belive i could throw in two of my bulls units in 2k list together to make a 10. ill try it out on saturday!

Feedback scrolls can rape an enemy wizard who doesn't have a Ward save.
Here is a magic defence combo we worked up @ www.Ogrestronghold.com
6+ ironguts with Runemaw and 6+ Bulls with a Charactor inside with 3 Gnoblar Thiefstones. Runemaw redirects to the Bulls who have a 4+ ward against magic.
Thundermace is better now that there are no partials. there is a potential 19 hits with that thing.
