Here's a finished pic of a Ku'gath commision I just finished up ( there are start to finish pics in my gallery). We went for more of an 'on the move' pose, as if he just got done throwing a glob of nurglings at some poor fool! I'll post painted pics as soon as that gets done! Thanks for looking and any/all comments are welcome!

Wow, that's very cool. What's the boy made from? My only suggestion would be to cover the base in nurglings, though that might just be me thinking that's a good idea.

great greenstuffing, be good to see completed, painted. my only criticism is ku'gath is mounted on a palanquin.

I start out with a wire frame made from coat hanger wire, to get a basic skeleton to work off of. I bulk that out with 20g wire, available at most DIY or hardware stores. I've found that this really helps to flesh out the sculpt (not to mention that the putty sticks to it wonderfully). I use ProCreate Terrain putty for the initial cover-up of the wire, then Procreate Epoxy Sculpting putty for the finer details, finishing up with Kneadatite (Green Stuff) for the finish.

There will be nurglings on the base (of course! LOL) and the reason he's not on his palanquin is that the customer and I decided it would be cool to do more of an 'action' pose. That's why he looks like he just got done hurling a glob of nurglings at some poor fools!

Since I have 10 more weeks before I am released by the docs to go back to work, I've had PLENTY of time on my hands to work on things. Ku'Gath is finished! Hope you like him!

Pretty darn good for any random GUO or Nurglely Daemon Prince, but I don't really care for it as Ku'Goth because it doesn't really look like what his fluff describes at all. No Palanquin or Nurgling horde. He looks more mean than just serious and thoughtful.

No palanquin or horde is because the client wanted him in more of an 'action' pose from him. Thanks!
