Do (dark) Eldar or tau have pets? Orks have squigs, don't they?

Eldar are known to have pets. A gyrinx is a large cat like creature that existed in rouge trader and played the role of familiar to eldar and human characters - one was featured in the 4th edition rulebook standing next to a warlock. I haven't heard anything about tau owning pets, it might not mesh with the greater good.

Eldar have Kitties, and the Savage ones(exodites) keep lizardy mounts.

Dark Eldar keep Warp beasts(and several nasty critters for fighting in the arenas,I am sure their keepers "love" them much like the Rancor keeper in Jedi)

Tau probably just se drones as sort-of pets.

Kroot keep their uncles and aunts that "evolve" into Kroothounds, and Kroot oxes.

Orks keep Squigs and Snotlings(occasionally Grots as well)

The Hrud do not keep anything as it would age, decay, and die.

Higher Tyranid life forms keep lower tyranid Life forms.

Necorns do not keep any pets, unless you see Scarab swarms like pets to them.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

I think Nurgleings are like pets to Plauge bearers and Great unclean ones .

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

And snack food too...so useful.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Pretty good question. I think all the bases have been covered really. I imagine the eldar would and the DE but prolly for very different reason. I figure that humans still have cats and dogs and fish and all that. Tau? why not they seem human enuff.

I imagine chaos has pets to. Prolly some very exotic pets as well as lil demons. There are familiers those are sorta like pets?

Can't you see we have been abandoned? Forget matters of duty and honor to the emperor this is now a matter of pride.

I think Dark eldar not only have warp beasts, but also captured slaves. Look at the asdrubael Vect model. he caries 2 female slaves with him ---> pets.

dark eldar keep human females as pets

After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

Laxatives, thats the best way to clear a pet jam. At least that's what I heard...

@Melissia, I'd figured that had to be some sort of running gag, I've seen it way too often to be coincidence. 'Rouge Trader' sounds like some kind of Avon style make-up company.

If brute force isn't the answer, it's only because you aren't using enough of it.

No, too many people do it and don't seem to realize they're doing it. It's the same with there, their, and they're I suppose, only rouge and rogue don't even sound alike so it's even more confusing as to why you'd confuse the two.

Probably right there, since Rouge is an actual word it's never going to get picked out by a spell checker and that relies on proof reading and understanding the pronunciation of both words. Still it does come up an inordinate amount of times for such a simple word.
