We can now reveal that a second Space Marines chapter, the Imperial Fists, appear in the ULTRAMARINES movie, alongside their battle brothers, the Ultramarines. Read Dan Abnett’s blog entry about it here, and see the first Imperial Fist concept art here.

Anyone hear about this? At least they have another chapter up!

I was just thinking this was a Ultramarine only, They proved me wrong. I hope its Lysander. Anyone think of a Good Imperial Fist to have in the movie?

Huh I thought people would be interested in this. I sure was.

I, for one, am glad this happened. Now the anti-Ultra crowd gets a bone thrown to them, new viewers don't get confused and think the Imperium is "All Ultramarines, all the time", and the Fists, who are awesome, get a little love!

But Lysander? I don't think so. I am almost certain that every Marine is going to die at the end.

OK so lysander is ruled out. Then what other famous imperail fist will take his place?

Whoever it is, it will be someone we have never heard of. So far, all the named Ultramarines are new charactors, so it stands to reason it will be the same way fo the Fists.

So, any news on a release date? I didn't see one on that website.

I would have been more happy with BT, but I suppose IF is the closest I'll get.

I don't know how "There's another Chapter too!!!" can really be considered a big deal in a movie called 'Ultramarines'.

How 'bout some plot details. A real trailer. Something interesting.

It almost seems that the Ultramarine movie has the same secrecy policy that plagues GW-proper.

Well I'm assuming they are. Their name is EVERYWHERE on the movie info. So it only makes sense....right? I maybe wrong though...

I see an Imperial Fists Shrine floor detail. Second or third picture on the top row. :shrug:

The Commissar can never have too many hats.

Some of that concept art seems interesting. Hopefully the movie will be good!

The smaller pauldrons do seem a bit odd, but I dont want them to go overboard (like in the piece of old art that has the Marine that looks like Scarface - those things are huge!).
