So i'm attending a tournament where i was told to bring 1500 points, plus 200 points that takes up one FOC slot, to do mission specific tasks

I have no clue what these tasks may be, and im just curious to know if anyone has played in a tourny that has done something to this effect, and what their experiences were with it.
So.. If you've played in one with this, please do tell what it involves.

my mission specifies you need to insert all the models of the 200 point detachment into your anus.

seriously, no idea. just bring a squad in a transport, with 1 anti-tank weapon and 1 anti-infantry weapon.

Err, I would rather take something mobile and efficient at killing.

I assume dark eldar, so a wych squad with a agonizer leader and haywire (or whatever) grenades in a raider should do the trick. I have been neglecting my dark eldar for a long time, so forgive my not remembering the names.

im going with 7 wyches (including succubus) in a raider with NS, wych weapons, plasma grenades, and an agoniser. The squad isn't the issue, as they would do well at whatever task they had to. I simply am curious as to what the tasks and such would be.. lol

Hmm interesting idea. Odds are for each mission it may be to get an objective or kill something specific of your enemys army.

I have a 1500 point tournament this weekend, and I'm bringing my DE; you had me going for a second there.....then I read the rest of it.

200 point unit....I presume you're running a Kabal? My 1500 point list is 2x Haemonculi with destructors, 6x raider squads, 3x wych squads, 3x Disintegrator ravagers. Boom, 1500.

Adding 200 points....I'd add an Archon + Transport + Incubi? I haven't worked out the points for that one.....alternatively, I'd add in a reaver jetbike squad or two (of 3x bikes with 2x blasters) into my force org chart, pulling one wych squad out of the 1500 list, and add them back into the 200 point area.

Well, the mission is probably something like "kill the enemy HQ" or "on a 5 or 6, a taskforce (name I am giving the 200 point niblets) entering a terrain feature finds the tower! The tower is the primary objective" I played in a tournament with something like them, a real headache since it was the only static element of my army.

My list is posted in the army list forum.. this was simply to find out if anyone had done this kind of game / tourny before and to hear what it was, ;D
