Well instead of taking the easy option of painting it ultramarine blue and a white shoulder pad as said it would be easyier, well after a long thought i'm going for the traditional white armor and ultramarine blue shoulder pad.
White being somthing i have always hated painting along with yellow but have taken the challenge and would like to see what the Dakka community thinks of it so far.

Still plenty left to paint on it but mainly finished with the white coats and some good old fasioned C&C

Process i have doneso far is base with a light grey and with a thinned skull white coat over that then stuck a dabad black wash over then covered the mini again with a few more coats of thinned skull white, so far with the red i have only done macherite red and 1 thin coat of blood red over it still a few more light coats to go yet to even the red out a bit more and lighten it up.

as above says some c&c on the mini so far would be great will post pics after i paint a bit more of it

Looks great. I like the outlining on the back. Fantastic! I'm looking into buying one, is this metal?

Oh crud, I was hoping to get a metal one. I doubt thats a possibility now. I'll have to do some research. Anyway, great paint job. Really like how neat the edges are. Post another when its completed!

You can find them on ebay, but they're in demand right now as lots of BA players are discovering they need more sanguinary priests
