Punisher.

Because Heavy 20 in a non-apoc game is ridiculously stupid, and I love it.

Unless it's aimed at my Tau. Then I like it a lot less.

Punisher is really not that great... BS 3 AP- and most units in cover its to expensive just buy a basilisk so it can kill lots of infantry and maybe a vehicle punisher is lacking...

anyway vanilla russ all the way! I run it Battle cannon and Lascannon it's legit at what ever i want it to do... except get klawed by nobs...

Ok, but the question was what is your favourite type, not what type do you think is the best.

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Well, speaking as a long time armoured company, I am torn between the vanilla and the demo. The vanilla is like tac squads to an armoured list, it is basically everything else, but with the most basic gun. They are delisious. That said, the demolisher is one of the few "Ace of All Trades" units in the game if you can manage to get it in range, and it is an anti everything deathstick. I leurve it, as much as people say that the Executioner is better, I only have one plasma tank, but I have three demolishers!

Though going by the visuals alone, my Gryphon IV Vanq command tank is Pimp, and as such the pride of my (non superheavy, non primarch) collection.

6000 points IG, Leviathins 8th company, (store regiment) 60% painted
4500 points Empire 80-90% painted!
2500 Ogres 2% painted
WIP Biker Battle Company 95% painted
2500 Points Isstavan Drop site massacre Iron Hands (still waiting for dat codex)
I managed to play a 1750 point game with minimal proxieing on the first day DE came out. go me!
The Gutterballers, a relatively successfull BloodBowl team
Oh, and Howard's Faildar

I love the Eradicator because of the Kids in the Hall sketch by the same name, and the fact that the tank itself is similarly a hilarious punchline.

I love the executioner because i love Plasma and the fact that an executioner can have 5 Plasma cannon shots can really do damage to terminators and MEQ's for guard. I like the look of the model too as i prefer it to other Tanks of the imperium even though i hate Guard...

The executioner. Mmm, plasma cannons.

I voted Vanquisher, as it is my favorite tank from a looks and concept perspective. My converted one came out pretty well, too! Now, on the table, it has been a bit underwhelming, but at least it fails with style .

Because there are much cheaper and more effective ways to get autocannons into a Guard regiment.

Hydras, Sentinels, HW teams, for example.

sentinal is probaly the least effective way to have auto cannons and heavy weapons teams cant move and fire.

Although Hydras are good

Why the hate for Sentinels?

I agree that they're not the best FA choice, but at least they can get some autocannons into your army without taking up a valuable HS slot.

I would say the LRBT...just cause it's 'Old Reliable'...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I usually play chaos opponents though, and as they tend to come to me I use a demolisher with plasma sponsons now
