So it's about that time of year again here in the USA, and as there's only one Games Day here this year I expect the competition to be much fiercer. I wanted to start this thread so that all the potential Golden Demon enterers (is that a word?) can get some advice from the guys who've been there and done that on subjects like what models they think will make a good showing this year, what will the judges be looking for, and what categories will be easier than others. Personally, I think that you're going to see a lot of Skaven entries for Fantasy, Space Wolf and Blood Angel (mainly a lot of NMM gold here) entries for 40k, and only very slightly converted stock models winning most categories, if it's anything like last year.

Thanks. I started mine last September, and when I really stay focused I finish my entries in about a month each.
