Vardaat ruggers are weaker lancers, they are able to move as slower infantry, trading mobility for speed. they are dangerous, elite and hard to kill, however, they have no hands, and are incapable of carrying shooting weapons.

Viloxi wings are considered a jump pack, but also a power weapon.

Viloxi cutters are small blades over the horns of viloxi. this preforms a special attack, that always causes ID, and is attacked at S- [6] power weapon.

Did you dump your hand into a hat filled with different stats and simply put together what you pulled out?

For 175 Points, I get 5 Assault Marines with I7, A4, Power Weapons, and the ability to strike S9 I8.

And for 110 points, I can take what is essentially Korsharro Khan with a Jump Pack.

Seriously, I suggest you make some rules for something other than Marines

Before commenting on their abilities, first of all, what the heck is a vardaat? How does lancers, ruggers and viloxi relate to your combat specialists? A little background would be nice.

Lol. Vardaat literally means bladers. anyway, Vardaat is a planet in this case. Vardatiicans, or vardatians, are large humans, some as tall as 16 ft. most of them are about 10ft.

Anyway, most are winged beasts, some, such as Ruggers have such small wings, that they're like absesses rather then limbs.

anyway, they're generally very agile and very able in combat. they're smart, sapient, but they're also not very good at range. good ranged troops are availible, but they mostly take the form of VPDF and VPDFM [vardaat planetary] the best infantry are lancers, who are basically speed'd up assaultmarins, who can't shoot very well. most carry small spears, armed with explosive tips, and very few have special weapons such as firewings.

aside from that, ruggers are the dieing underdogs of the planet, and the Viloxi is a strong combat unit, who as of now is no longer in the fandex.

they're gonna be really beautiful models, if you know it, the kyrie from one of the hasbro wargames heroscape models.

prelim models [photo's] will be in the book.

I'm also thinking of haflings. they'd be weaker then Vardaats, but very good soldier ranged soldiers.

You basing this off something you've made up completly or basing it on something out of a book or movie or something like that?

That's not that bad, remember Banshees can have I10 S3 WS5 Power Weapons. I think the part which must be removed is the ability which makes them strike at S9 I8.
