Has anyone been to one of these? My 40K group is thinking about going, partially for a fun trip and partially for the cool swag. How does one get the cool stuff? purchases at certain levels? of course, availability will be determined by the store and the attendees...

Either they aren't that special or we're all content with the 'gifts' that we give GW year round, and feel no need for additional celebrations...

I went to the Warhammer birthday. It was good. We had cake and there were lots of cool mini-scenarios and games (like squig hopping and beat the sweets, for example). They also did raffles on older minis, such as the old cold ones and the old high elf dragon.

you can buy a krak nade keychain and water bottle and poster for a price, they are not gifts.

You do get a free pen if you spend a lot of money tho.

I loved the gaming and trading events, and the enviroment, but the purchasing part wasnt very pleasant
