Hey guys, new to Dakka, I thought I would open by posting a couple of pics of the army I am currently working on, Lizardmen. It is a rather time consuming scheme on the scales which is unfortuate since I'm a slow painter anyway, but I like it. I've done skin and scales on these guys, not really gone into the detail yet though a bit on the saurus.

Saurus head has to change, I don't like it as it is. Any suggestions on whether I should go dark or light for it?

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

Youll be 100 years old until you finish painting your whole army dude.
Very nice job indeed

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah the army is going to be very time consuming. It probably takes 4-5 hours just to do the scales on 5 saurus in an assembly line. I am trying to make the whole of this army very high quality though. Experimented with a couple of shortcuts that didn't involve picking out every scale 4-5 times but I didn't like the result unfortunately.

Good thing about the scales is I can very easily pick up a brush and paint for 10 minutes or whatever and not have to have long sessions, I'm trying to get into a habit of working for at least a while every day.

Might as well post my carnosaur as well, he is probably my favourite model.
