Attempts by Company Commanders to call down close-ranged artillery fire can result in disastrous casualties amongst the Imperial Guard. Whilst the loss of life is regrettable, the waste of ammunition is INTOLERABLE!

Not sure these count as bands, half of the time, but you'll get the picture...

In some sort of order, but nothing in particular;

Japanese Popstars,
feth Buttons, (<-- auto-edited from that other word that makes babies die if it is put on a computer screen anywhere)
Deadmau5,
Chemical Brothers,
Delta Heavy,
Crystal Castles,
The Presets,
The Go! Team,
Madness,
Faith No More,
Soundgarden,
RATM,
Audioslave

So, new electronic-y stuff, plus a few old classics from the 90s to finish the list.

Nice to see Folk Metal getting a little love. I tend to go in phases, with metal (including many, but not all, of its myriad sub-genres) being the core, followed (in frequency of listening and size of collection) by various types of electronica.

Most recently, I've been on a bit of an industrial kick. Last few artists played (all of which have my less than official seal of approval):

Haujobb
Kevorkian Death Cycle
Plastic Assault
The Kovenant
Life Cried

Honorable mention goes to Dystrophy (death/thrash from New Brunswick, NJ), who just played their last show for a few months. I still have whiplash from that one. I'm thinking I may have to start a new thread for Dakkaites to pimp their favorite local bands and get the unsigned heroes' names out there. Give them a look, if you get the chance - they're not just the best of the locals, they're actually good.

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.

Misfits
The Business
B.B King
Teddy Pendagrass
Carlos Santana
Dropkick Murphys
...and on and on....

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
