Just wondering if I'm the only one so psyched up for this game that your actually retreading old stuff.

I'm re-reading the books, again.
I'm playing Halo: ODST firefight again.
Preparing a launch LAN with a few friends.
Ordered the Halo: Encyclopedia (BECAUSE I CAN! HURR)

I'm working on my twitch skills for those really hectic moments in the game.
I'm rereading Fall of Reach as well.

Re-reading all of the novels (except The Flood), borrowed the first two games off a friend and I'm re-playing H3 and ODST.

I'm also planning an Heroic Firefight game with some friends for one last bloody hurrah before Reach comes out, just for lulz. Speaking of Firefight, I can't wait to try the 'Gruntocalypse' variant.

I've pre-ordered the Legendary Edition and have been playing H1, 2, 3 and ODST campaign recently to get me back into the plot. I can't wait for the new Forge World map Bungie have created, and the fact that they've ironed out all the little irritating bugs of the original Forge (such as "fixed" and "phased" physics: now you don't have to do complicated balancing acts if you want a floating object). They've also added new things such as 90-degree snapping features. All in all, I can't wait for it.

The real books to reread are Ghosts of Onyx and Fall of Reach (The rest don't matter as much). Been waiting to see if the Spartan III's would get any game time . Moment's coming.

I've been trying to get all the achievements - not all that easy as most people only seem to want to mess about in firefight or play on lost platoon, which I already have the 200k points on

So if anyone wants to try and get 200k on any other map, or try to get endure (I got over half way there this weekend before people started getting stupid, which was really annoying), let me know.

Also if anyone needs legendary in Halo 3 - let me know and we can do some coop (I find that legendary is so much harder in H3 than ODST - which I did solo in an afternoon).

Ditto for any of the other vidmaster achievements.

I really do. And my score reflected how well I did with it

That double kill on the Wraith was gorgeous.

In firefight.. All I need is a needler ( to take out those pesky engineers mostly), mah trusty pistol and a crap load of grenades, I am a master at sticking things half way across a map

I use the needler on brutes - just under a clip to kill even a hardcore brute

Yep, though most of the time, I melee those things to death, assinating a chieftain just makes life easier.

Strangely enough, in complete opposite world of halo 1, I seem to have some trouble with taking down hunters cause I never pack anything with the punch to kill them quickly, and am usually hiding in a not so blast resistant corner when they turn up

Re-reading the books even the encyclopedia, broke out the sound tracks, got the sealed figures on the wall which the wife hates going to play the games again and watch halo legends with plenty of beer... Again.

I miss dual weilding tbh. SMG and Pistol could take anybody down.

But for reach, I have enitiated my no-bungie-lookieness mode where I slam my head off of the nearest avalible hard object if I go on bungie.net, i've just finishes fall of reach and am moving onto the other novels tonight.

I've also cut back on my xbox playing time so my parents will be more concideret(sp) when I get my reach (legendary FTW)

and I throw down my hat to challenge all the gentlemen in this thread to forklift races and base wars on the 18-19th of september 2010 in forge
