Magneto is now one of the X-men, especially after the house of M saga, considering they are all endangered...

TP = Toilet paper.

Rogue Wolves wrote:speaking of xmen, childe did you know your former avater Thanos will be in 2 marvel films within the next couple years

Yup. Tis why I used that picture... its from the hidden bit at the end of The Avengers...

Viktor von Domm wrote:hmm...actually i hope not... his whole death lovelife relationship was very yucky...

Yeah, well in fairness... there was some pretty weird stuff in Marvel... Quentine Quire resurrecting the girl he loved (zombie love, yay), Jean Grey coming back from the dead to stop the pheonix (more zombie love, yay?), Petyr and Illyana coming back from the dead (not so much zombie love) and now Charles Xavier... not sure if we'll have zombie love for this one... it depends how much of a death it is.

Rogue Wolves wrote:He's going to be in "the Avengers 2" of course, and also "Guardians of the Galaxy" although I dont know much about the second movie

No one knows much about the second movie... except for thanos.

well... i know hope is the last resort... but if that movie is about to happen it will happen with that stupid hairdo creep... superman for aliens...the shi´ar without them... unthinkable...

in the backbrain i knew dan abnett was involved with marvel... i think i caught that via ebay one of these days...

and you can bet that xavier will be coming back from the grave... it´s a comic book character... it will take around 5 to ten years and he is back again in the land of the living... how and why... that remains to the story line... but that much is certain in comics no one dies forever...specially if they do a rerun every now and then...

TP...

and... your order... that must hrut... how come? what was wrong with the first order that got blown apart?

by the way... i hope they will bring out the magneto origins movie soon... they promised it with the gambit one after wolverines frst one... and i am also hoping for that deadpool movie...

well having read the wiki page for guardians, it has nothing to do with the Shi'ar it seems... but there is a Guardians film in the pipeline, which seems it will set up Thanos for Avengers2.

Jean Grey is dead... and never coming back, ever. it's been about ten years since she died. the pheonix is back, and she hasnt been resurected. she's gone for good... Also, Moira McTaggart has remained dead, and so has Senator Kelly.

Wolverine origins was a bag of gak, with a pile of added gak on top. Deadpool just won't happen... no matter how much Ryan Renolds wants it. Plus Magneto won't get one now they are doing the X-men early years stuff, as the second one has been greenlit.

senator kelly and moira mc taggert... you sure did your homework!!! not many peeps would remmeber these characters at all!!! and i like moira! she was very cool and always the heart to the xmen and then of course for excalibur... that book i just loved! (it had kurt, so what could i do^^)

dunno why the bad rep is out there for wolverine origins... i liked that movie for all those neat lil cameo appereances and also for the general storyline...

and deadpool is a must... i bet millions of fans would happiliy spent their money in advance to see this happening... and i thought magneto would happen soon too... but your comment about the second first class movie... well that makes sense...

since it is so confusing to stay on track with jean grey... when did she bit the dust... i dunno if i was off the hook of comic book cooleting back then already...

I HATED xmen origins.. because I LOVE deadpool, and that guy is not deadpool.. a deadpool movie would be amazing, but they would have to get a perfect actor for deadpool otherwise it will surely fail

Oh and Kurt Wagner is dead too... I read all of those storylines when they came out Vik, its hard not to remember those characters when they laid hefty cornerstones for future elements.

dunno why the bad rep is out there for wolverine origins... i liked that movie for all those neat lil cameo appereances and also for the general storyline...

With the Avengers franchise running currently and with the second one being the final story in the entire saga arc, I doubt they will pump money into anything that isnt already established.

since it is so confusing to stay on track with jean grey... when did she bit the dust... i dunno if i was off the hook of comic book cooleting back then already...

A character known as Xorn, who was originally thought to be Magneto in disguise (which turned out to be an imposter) killed Jean Grey by using the electromagnetic impulses of the body to send her into a complete systems failure. But when the Pheonix force later returned as a fragment of its full identity, it tried to resurrect Jean, as succeeded until Jean asserted herself over it, and subsequently sent it packing, but not before she told Scott to live and move on, before having a final death.

Ryan Renolds would be perfect for Deadpool imo, as he has that character down to a T

hmmm... in the books magneto was sometimes pictured as a rather older man... beside... for the major timeframe he was at least as old as prof x... and they must´ve been around 60 at least... in recent times he then was more protrayed as a healthy and totally fit 50 or more 40... so i guess there is plenty of room for some other actors... and i liked mc kellens performance as magneto... it gave the character the needed dignity and the experience.... but a more able fighter would be nice... tho i then have no clue who might be suitable...

He had the attitude to a T no doubt their, but he always seemed rather frail to be Magneto to me, but that is just how I perceived him.

He came across more powerful in LOTR to be honest .

Charles Xavier and Eric Lensherr were both the same age. Xavier fought in the Korean war, which is where he got paralysed falling out a helicopter under fire. Lensherr was a child during the holocaust, which led to his beliefs about humans. The major difference between the two is Lansherr's powers, as his control of the Magnatoshpere is manipulated (subconsciously) to slow his ageing down.

lone dirty dog wrote:He had the attitude to a T no doubt their, but he always seemed rather frail to be Magneto to me, but that is just how I perceived him.

As I said above about the magnetosphere, they neglected that detail when casting and filming the first three x-men films. So the frail looking McKellan suited the role perfectly, especially in contrast to his level 1 status as a Mutant.

lone dirty dog wrote:Dont forget that the movie industry is big on rebooting the comic movie franchise, I heard a rumour that Magneto movies will happen but in a reboot with a new lead role.

There is absolutely no need to do a Magneto movie, due to his backstory being covered in X-Men: First class. nor do they need to cast anyone other than Michael Fassbender.

Well the body is one big computer governed by electro signals which flow throughout it. Copper bangles and rings are used to help the circulation of the body, plus the ingesting of metals in our diet are proven to help the body with longevity. so combine the two and it isn't much of a stretch to leap the Marvels explanation of Magneto's youthfulness. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that controlling the bodies electro-magnetic field somehow did have an effect on ageing. It could be linked to the Gene which controls the bodies ageing.

Magneto isn't my favourite villain tbh... I prefer Mr Sinister or Apocalypse tbh.

although I'm not sure if Apocalypse is still alive...
