Does anyone know of a company doing rond 40k scale bases you can put square warhammer figure bases in?

Then you could use the same figure, just with optional bases!

My comments are my own, and mine own alone. If you have any complaints, please report to Mr Spanky who will take them down for you.....

I dunno...

I dunno if this is necessary, I just base my Daemons on the square bases and use them for both game systems. Haven't had any complaints yet.

Wife does the same, but being pedantic, warhammer uses square, abd 40k uses different round bases, it will (slightly) change the number of figures in contact, gaps you can fit them in, etc.

Ok I'd agree its picky, but people can be very picky! :-)

I put the model on the smallest base of the type. and use magnets to attach to the other.

Chariots use chariot bases however.

This is not quite accurate. 40K uses whatever base the models come with. As Daemons come with both, it's not incorrect to use square bases on Daemons, even if they are intended (primarily or entirely) for 40K. Most people collecting entirely for 40K would choose round bases on the basis that that's what most 40K models use, but there's no mistake in using square bases. Unfortunately, there are actually some distinct advantages - most notably in terms of deep-strike packing, where square bases can (numbers depending) result in a more efficient footprint, despite each round base being strictly smaller than a square base.

Actually there is a perfect solution. Go to Gale Force 9 website and look at their movement trays. They have movement trays that round bases fit into so that is the easy answer hehe.

That's your best bet. it'll make everyone happy.
You'll get models you can play with in both games, 40Kers won't stroke out over square bases, and WHFB players won't stroke out that your units are lined up weird.

It's the most common solution I've seen.
