It can be pretty boring here, so to pass the time I sketch things. Why?.... I don't know.
Here's an example.
Hope y'all like it. To be honest, I think I can do better - I've just noticed the size of the Cadian's cheekbones.

I'm guessing it's an attempt at foreshortening, but one of the Cadian's arms are shorter than the other. It's an alright sketch, but you probably could use more construction in your work.

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Yeah, I've noticed a few (massive) flaws in it, but hey, at least they look vaguely human, amirite?
This is some earlier stuff I drew, I'm currently working on a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh and a Techpriest, and having actually used construction lines, they look a great deal better.
Hooray for progress!

Nice job! Thing about art is it's like a single frame in a motion picture. This is a nice picture, I like the subject you chose too. Imperial Guard I think are harder to make inspiring pictures from because there is less drama inherent in the design. Like, Abaddon would look dramatic and terrifying sitting at a table sipping tea, but you have to work hard to make the humble guardsman look interesting. You managed to

Certainly an amazing start, very good for a doodle (as I call them) the more you do the better you get. It's always nice to see some art work posted on dakka !
You can draw hands pretty damned well too, and feet. (i fail miserably at those.)

Feet are, far and away, the single worst part of a person to draw. It takes me ridiculous amounts of effort to get them right.

Good job! While not exactly design studio quality, who am I to complain? I've got probably the most unsteady hand and a great big fat record of failing Art at school.
But then again they're marking us on our skills of drawing biscuits and complaining that it's not big enough when I drew it to the scale of what I'm actually looking at. Useless, freaky art teacher. *glares at art teacher* *shudders at thought of him*
Looks good to me, and I eagerly await more!
