Anyway; great stuff from a beginner! The colors are well-defined and distinct, though the paint looks a little thick on the edges of some of the pieces. Might try thinning it down just a little.
I've heard you can get the eyes on those helmets to look better by putting a tiny drop of white in the corner, so they look reflective, but I don't do Marines so I'm sure someone else can suggest something there better than I.
Otherwise, they look damn good for your first stuff. And even based well.

really good stuff for a beginner.

some things you might like to know:

take some of your left-over plastic sprues and paint them in different colors and with different basecoats to get a feeling for the different colors and how much you need to thin them down.

sounds stupid? yes

helps you to improve your painting? YES!

Im in the same boat with ya. Starting again from a 7 year break from the hobby.
I think from just starting out your models look great. Maybe a wash or 2 would give
them some more depth but I think your bases are simple but fantastic.

anyway i am now wating on 10 Scouts whit Sniper's and need to be done befor 28/8 got a 2 man team turnimant coming up witch is why i need them. dident come inn the mail today was bumd :<

Hey, another Crimson Fists player! Your stuff looks pretty good, although the bases could use a little bit of work; for instance, only flock the flat/top of the base, and then paint around the side green/brown/grey or whatever colour fits best.

Also, some of your models look a bit like ultrasmurfs..

I dont know. I like the way he has done the bases. Its a unique spine on you basic basing technique. But I do have to agree the army is really starting to come together. Its gonna look great on the table top. Really good stuff.
