No matter how bad it is we all have to agree. FINALLY someone is sticking it to twilight IN PUBLIC. and it will still be better then twilight.

Uh-huh. Looks like the usual type of crap 'parody' that goes on in the film industry.

A couple of the Scary Movies were funny. The rest of them didn't even qualify as parody, and instead of making fun of the target, just had the audience facepalming.

I can honestly say I'd rather watch Twilight than see this.

I too might see this. Very few things beat laughing at Twilight to me these days.

I read Nightlight, a parody, and that was hilarious. It took all the crap of twilight and made it funny.

Well that looked crap.

The last parody film I watched which just put me off all of them was Meet The Spartans. I absolutely hated the way that film had to Tell you what every joke was. The aged boxer coming out, talking in an obvious Stallone accent, but they have to zoom in on his shorts for a Rocky name tag, ect.

I think that they have been done to death, they have rapidly declined since Scary Movie.

It's funny because these films are always enormous bombs. They never really go anywhere beyond the #5 spot.

These kind of films are for people who are easily entertained and have idiotic values. Parodies are rarely funny, especially when a VERY large group of people enjoyed the original.

It's a big waste of time to even make these kind of movies.

The funny thing is that they're not really "sticking it to Twilight". If you're being parodied, it means you've really made it. As well, most parodies are made by people who enjoy and understand the thing being parodied, so it's actually a reverent move, NOT saying that what's being parodied is crappy or attempting to "stick it to them". They're just an attempt to cash in.

If you actually hated Twilight, this movie being made and released should piss you off MORE, not be praised.

I had to lol, I hate, despise, loath twilight and the plague of vampire tv shows. so seeing it having the michael taken out of should be a general laugh for me

I am indifferent to Twilight.

I have not read the books or seen the movies. I have been made vaguely aware of the plot but I know what 'vampires' traditionally are and no one woman's interpretation of them has any what effect soever on what I think of them in general.
They drink blood as a matter of principle. Sunlight destroys them. A pure white horse can not be led over a grave that contains a vampire. Garlic is only abhorrent to vampires that have been unfortunate enough to taste an Italian. The only way to be sure is to drive a wooden stake through the heart, cut of it's head, stuff the mouth with fresh Italian garlic, completely burn them and scatter the ashes.

Parody movies in the vein of Scary Movie are and always have been extremely cheap and witless affairs, and I have no desire to see another.

Twilight doesn't affect/annoy me. It's funny to see people get riled up by something that they see that in reality is such a non-issue. You don't agree with how the vampires are presented? That's great.

Of course the fangirls/boys getting all excited is funny too and sometimes it's very OTT but hey I've spent almost $1000 on Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy combined and there's people who get Imperial Aquila tattoos.

So it doesn't bother me in the slightest, everyone has their own little obsession.

I found the first Twilight movie awsome!

Of course that was after a six pack of Guiness and five shots of Jameson whiskey.

The movie was hilarious and I had the added benefit of not remembering anythng about it the next morning.

The irony is it makes the Twighlight movie look like sheer genius in comparison.

Everyone involved with this cinematic cackfest should be made to watch it looped endlessly until they gouge their own eyes out with popcorn.

They're not really a waste of time to make. Even though these movies never get good reviews and never do a ton in the box office,they are a very safe investment and almost always turn a profit,because they are so ridiculously cheap to make. Uwe Boll's movies are god awful,for example,but every single one of them has made money on the bottom line,so that's why he keeps getting bankrolled. It's the same with parody movies. You don't need big name actors. The screenplay practically writes itself. You don't need to drop massive bank on cgi/special effects. What you do have is enough of a built in audience of people who enjoyed the original material and will pay to see it get parodied and/or people who have the original material enough to pay to see it get parodied.

The best parody movies are probably the old Mel Brooks flicks,though. The most recent one that I can really remember being good was Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice In the Hood.

I will forever hate Twilight. Its the movie that GC said her hooligan friends thought the werewolf guy was "hawt."
