Hi there!

Here's my Nurgle Plague tower, I made it two years ago, and still haven't finished to paint it (In fact I haven't done anything on it for at least a year)

C&C welcome!

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Looks great! Not a fan of the faces as it looks kind of odd to me on there and doesnt really scream Nurgle to me. Maybe you still plan on doing something with them i dont know but i really like the rest of the model.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

Looks pretty good. Better than most plague towers I have seen, though the faces are well sculpted - they don't really scream chaos or disease.

The goo tanks might have been better on the back of the tank behind the tower.

The other detailing looks fantastic - great work

Thank you.

About the faces, when I started this project, the only visual source for a plague tower was the old Epic mini which I tried to adapt to a 40k scale. I havent painted the bubons yet and I plan to paint the eyes black and with filthy tears oozing from them. I understand they can be disappointing, but I really whished to keep the old Epic model inspiration.

@ SilverMK2: I Tried to place the tanks in the back, but it affected too much the width of the model.

I like it. I think the other details are enough to convey the fact that it's Nurgle's but I agree that, since they are the primary feature, you want the faces to display that fact immediately. I think adding a bit of sickly green to the mix would help. As the OP stated, he still has pustules to paint. I vote for weeping sores! Paint the boils in an irritated red hue, then add some glossy yellow-green pus drips. Diseased tears from blind eyes sound really good, too. Also, instead of blacked out eyes, consider giving them milky gray irises, as if blinded by cataracts. Oh, and a (un)healthy dose of crust around the edges!

Whatever you end up doing, I think your work so far is great. Good luck!

Helo Chaos brethren. I'm planning to build a couple of these puss factorys for the Nurgle portion of what is becoming a truely gargantuan Chaos battle force. I think Ihave most of the main materials needed for 2 maby 3 towers, there's just one little problem, I'm scratch biuldin using aluminum sheeting, balsa wood, milliput modelling putty, lolypop sticks, other than a few plaguebearers and nurglings I'm trying not to use any pre-existing components so as to ensure they are as uniqu and personal as possible. My isue is I don't know what width and length to make the plague mortar or puss cannon help would be massively appreciated.

If anyone can give me accurate measurements perfect, otherwise existing components that are the right sive will work fine. I obviously won't use them but I can mesure them to make correctly sized weapons.

Thanks

Oh yeh and the plague mortar above is one of the best I've seen. I'd be interested to know what parts were used don't worry, as I already said this project is a very strict scratch build so I won't pintch your ideas. As a fellow Chaos enthusiast I'm curious.

That's great. The only issue I have is the imperial tracks, but I don't think FW do their chaos tracks any more.
