After seeing some amazing threads/ projects for Kroot only lists ive been inspired to start my own army using the good old rule of "count as".

Im using the Tau codex and converting kroot models to fit in with what i feel is a competitve 1500pt list, whilst maintaining a krooty feel to it.

Im going for a desert theme for the army and heres my 1st "fire warrior" test model

Your Kroot are looking amazing! When i painted up mine i just went for the bog standard codex colours! Love the Tau armor and weapons you have given them! Consider me subscribed.
