Looking around for some bitz that I needed I noticed at the war store they had this mega bit grab bag for 25$ thought about getting one just for laughs. Anyone else gotten one? How much came in it??

Also is this a new thing on there site? I have never noticed it there before till today.

Annoying Groin Biter

I got a couple a few months ago, it had everything that a converter would want. it is random bits and sprues of any sprue that exists. They like throwing in Space Marine shoulder pads though...

I'd say they worth it by a lot.

Orks
Wins: 25 - Lose: 2 - Draw: 1
Ogres
Wins: 7 - Lose: 4 - Draw: 0
Dwarves
Wins: 5 - Lose : 0 - Draw: 1

Haha who doesnt have extra space marine pads?

I remeber having a handfull of them before i ever even bought my first marine.

I have seen other bitz grab bags that were a bit of a ripe for there money. 20 bucks for 1/4 of some random sprue just isnt worth that.

A friend got one about six months ago. Not much of anything he wanted, but our gaming group went rabid on it. You won't get things you're hoping for, but you will get stuff that surprises you. I would recommend it for people who have multiple armies so that you atleast get stuff you can use somehow... and all Ork players. Suppose you could just trade or eBay it afterwards.

I have gotten a couple of these, and they're a lot of fun. You don't buy these because you want something specific. You buy them for you and your friends to have lots of converty bitz, and get ideas. They're really fun! Have I said FUN enough?

FUN!!!

Don't order a bunch at the same time. Friend of mine did that and received four of the bags, all with identical content (Empire Horses, Marauder Cavalry and Possessed Marine Torsos/Legs).

So order one, then order another one a few months later.

It's random. Maybe you will, maybe you won't.

I've ordered two bags on separate occasions. it is, as expected, random. Worth it if you enjoy lots of different bits to spark your imagination. If you want specific race/game bits it is better to order what you want.

But for the money and the fun it is well worth the price. They stuff the bags tight so you get value for your dollar.

Agreed that this is a pretty good value, considering GWS prices. planning on getting another one or two for random fun later this year.

i mean im aware its random, im just wondering if like its common to get bodies, and legs, or if they stuff a ton of big parts like horses so it isnt as useful, etc.

It is very random. One time, I got a gork/mork idol, a bunch of random torsos, some nid bits, etc. Not a lot of 'big' items, I haven't seen, say, a horse body.

YMMV, but the bags are ALWAYS stuffed tight.
