Ordered my first FW resin chaps (The Mk III marines)

I understand that resin is a bit harder to get paint to stick to, and that my normal citadel skull white spray might not do the job.

Can anyone recommend a spray to use, please? Preferably one I can easily pick up in the UK at Halfords etc, or mail order...

Cheers

Any GW spray will work, you just have to clean the models in warm water with a brush. They still have there mold release on so paint doest adear to them.

Oreren is completely correct, wash the part in warm soapy water. Then rinse in warm clean water and allow to dry for 12 hours or so, use some paper towel if your desperate to crack on!

Gathering the Informations.

GW sprays will work, but require multiple very very light coats for coverage--and even then, if it's not washed correctly, you may see chipping.

I suggest looking for "Tamiya Fine Surface Primer", in Light Gray. When it is applied, it looks pretty damned close to white.

I use Duplicolor Sandable Primer

the nozzle atomizes the spray SO WELL. You can also change from a verticle to a horizontal spray setting on the nozzle
