I saw this trailer and Holy Space-Emporer, it was GREAT!

I mean, they got all the greatest action heroes: Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sylvester Stallone! Now, I'm a big Stallone fan, I loved Rocky Balboa and cried loud as Rambo (the 2008 one) ended So beautiful! So, what's your opinion about this incoming
(über)film?

I want to see it so bad. It looks like a tribute to every OTT, cheesy action flick from the 80's and early 90's. You know, guns never run out of ammo, guys take a 9mm round and do a double-backflip death, cars are all bulletproof, and bad guys all have 'Stormtrooper Syndrome'. Those were the best dude-films ever. They were made by guys, for guys. The Expendables is a big tribute to those movies.

I saw it at midnight, it was awesome.

The scene with Bruce Willis and Arnold was awesome. You could tell that they didn't film the scene together, but still, that scene was freaking sweet.

Of course I also have a man crush on Arnold but hey, that's just me.

I'd never seen Jason Statham in a movie before but he was actually pretty good.

In all, I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Lots of mindless action and violence, just the way it was intended.

Yeah that's kinda what this movie is like.

One of the funniest bits though:

Bruce Willis: "What's wrong with that guy?" *to Sly Marbo as Arnold walks out of the room*
Sly Marbo: "He wants to be President".

I lol'd.

It was awesome 'cause the whole theater cheered when Arnold entered.

Transporter is really good. I thought he was solid in The Italian Job, even though he's got a supporting role.

I really wanna see it. It's like a joke come true in a good way. "Hey dude, imagine a film where every action hero joined together in an elite merc squad to kick ass lol"
"dude, it's real!"

Every time I watch the trailer I get a rush of pure ass kick surging through my body. Last time I watched it I ended up kicking a hole in my bin.

Seriously!

Go see the TRANSPORTER movies - now!

Yes, there is some serious OTT action in them, but overall, AWESOME! (Yes, in an OTT Action Movie sense of AWESOME.)

Transporter 1 and 3 were ok,but Transporter 2 was god-awful. Crank 2 was pretty good though, and extremely OTT. War with Statham and Jet Li was also good. However, his best movies are Lock,Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, although they aren't action movies.

The Bank Job is his best movie, by a very long way.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Talking about Jason Statham and no one brings up Snatch?

I saw the expendables, and I hope I'm not overstating this, but it was the best melon-fething movie of all time.

Just got back from seeing it with my buddies. Good lord, is that an amazingly entertaining movie. Just goes to show you, you don't need a good plot to have a great movie.

Oh, and the entire theater just cracked up when Bruce Willis said the "He wants to be president" line.

I think Snatch is better. I also really, really like Crank. But then I'm a fan of movies that acknowledge that they push over the top.

Snatch is a lot more popular in the US than elsewhere, as Lock, Stock was a much bigger hit here, so we'd already seen Ritchie do something very close to Snatch.

Sadly people's safety is a higher concern than the movies awesomeness. I guess the movie would be too good then, also I just realized you said something else instead of "melon fether" someone must have edited it to "melon fether".

I've never been a mark for Austin, but it does seem like the writer/director had it out for him or had some kind of agenda in the movie. They have the pro wrestler(Austin) get gacked by the UFC fighter(Randy Couture). The main villain's line about,"You know how most men won't hit a woman? (points at Austin) This man has no such reservations." also hit very close to real life,as Austin has been arrested multiple times for domestic violence.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

Didn't Arnold say something about Stallone playing around in the forest though?

It was a great movie, the explosions large, the guns loud, the fights epic, the blood cheesy as hell.
