I use a mix of Chestnut Ink and Yellow Ink to do my Iyanden yellow colors but now GW and their infinate wisdom have decided to end production on inks.

So my question is this. Is there anywhere I can get inks that are relitively the same colors. Or good inks in general because I like my washes but I LOVE my inks.

Personally my local games world (not games workshop) stocks some out of production inks, which I purchased en masse (it's integral to my gold technique).

As a brush licker too I prefer the taste of inks. So shoot me.

Sorry but that's all I could find.

Vallejo sells some that are similar. Not sure if you've noticed, but they've been discontinued for years now..

Yeah before they were put out I bought as much as I could then I took a long time off painting. Now I'm getting back in and finding out what I bought isn't going to last much longer.

And I too am a brush licker and personally I find scorpion green to taste the best followed close by flesh wash (that's just one man's OP).

Thanks for the info.

I think Devian Miracle is pretty close to chestnut ink but not quite as amazing as chestnut ink was. And the Yellow wash should be close as well.

Coat D'Arms makes identical paints to the old Citadel ones. Look for their washes - they're the same formula.

OT: Foundation paints also taste horrible.

Brookhurst Hobbies also carries the Coat d'Arms and they are identical to the old soft plastic hex-shaped GW paints.

Have you checked a decent art store? You should have no problem finding a match for the chestnut and yellow inks.
