Does the new Daemon Prince sprue come with some Nurgley bits? I love the model and I'm wondering how Nurgley I can make it look before resorting to green stuff.

sadly GW decided that they didnt need to put ANY God specific parts in the kit... so all you can make are vanilla daemon princes.

your choices for 'god'ing' it up would be a good paint scheme (which is what im doing for my tzeentch) or converting.

I don't think it'll be too hard for my to sculpt some dripping bits on the torso and I'll be painting him Nurgley so I think it'll work out.

Is there not a nurgle daemon prince in metal but will proberley cost even more then the plastic kit?

Shame they aint included some God specific parts to the kit, bit of a let down that!

There's a metal Nurgle one for basically the same price but I don't want three of the same Prince so I was hoping the plastic one, since it is more easily customizable, had some Nurgle bits.

I believe you can put the metal nurgle things from the metal kit onto the platic kit. The arms would be pretty easy...Maybe the head too.

Never mind, that's a waste of money :3

Yep, think they have missed a good opertunity to get more nurgel stuff in plastic out their. Nurgle stuff is so popular amungst the chaos players why they are pretty much all metal and non convertable is suprising.

It's possible they might release another kit, but I won't hold my breath :3

Best bet is to buy the spawn kit aswell for parts.
Contains 2 heads that fit the nurgle theme (fly and 3 heads in 1)
Plenty of mutated arms, spikes, tenticles and other various bits.

It's GW?

As for nurgly bits, sadly no. I do like the idea of the spawn set though.

Nothing currently, got out of the hobby, maybe getting back in?

The bits from the Chaos Spacemarine, Spawn and Terminators/Lord should all fit into the head slot and be usuable for decorations. But thats probably only going to give you a 40k daemon (depending on what heads you use). Theres probably some bits in the warriors of chaos range.

But greenstuff is going to be your best friend for Nurgle daemons. But plastic Nurgle bits are few and fair between. Maybe some bits from Epidemus could work but thats going to get real expensive, real quick.

A kit bash with the new WFB River trolls could make a really cool Nurgle prince. Unfortunately, without getting the troll parts from a bits service it would be really expensive. But if I ever make another Nurgle Prince this is what I would do.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games
