Any news on this ever getting a port? This is about the only metroid I've never beaten, and I really want to play it....A DSi port would be nice....

Emulate. In fact, I'm going to do just that now you mention it.

You can get it on the Wii virtual console, also like Dreadnote said, you could easily get an emulator as well.

I actually play it on snemulDS, but it's super lame.. Zsnes is okay...I need a controller though.

I've been doing alright on the keyboard. All I can say though is thank god for save states.

I think Xbox 360 controllers work on PCs...But don't you need a usb "dongle' or something?

The SNES controller is just like the xbox controller, so it could work.

If you have a wired X-Box controller, or an X-Box controller for windows (Which is about 30 dollars more expensive), it will work fine with any emulator.

PS3 controllers actually work, too.

Just plug the USB connector that you would normally use to charge your controller into your computer. The cord is a little short, but it works.

Actually yes! It's really hard, but it's possible. Good thing saves existed

I've beaten the original metroid when it got ported to the GBA (I died dozens of times. Thank god for respawn codes), but never on the NES (despite owning a NES and metroid,LOL).

Psh. No need to emulate. Go old school like me and hook up the good old snes and play some super metroid.

If your SNES doesn't work anymore, emulation is a great option if you actually own the game in question.

Just watch out for the Xbox 360 D-pad. It's pretty horrible.

So use the analogue stick.

For game designed for 8 way Dpads, it's kinda of uncomfortable.

I found this controller I was using for flight simulator...It works okay. The PS3 controller was better, but I need it for my Ps3, haha.

I'm still not sure how to feel about Metroid: Other M.

I'd buy it if I had a wii. It looks pretty good, I guess..
