This most likely has been answer already but I will give it a try, its actually a few questions, If a unit doesn't have decent of angels aka death company but buying larmetes he has it can they use it(If they as well are bought jump packs) ? Then if not If I add larmertes I can not place him and the squad in a Drop pod correct? he has a jump pack and it doesn't say it can be removed. Then if a character joins a unit with decent of angels and doesn't have it they still use it correct?

you cannot alter special character's loadouts unless it tells you specifically that you can (like belial in the dark angels or marneus calgar for vanilla marines). death co with jet packs are overpriced and i sincerely doubt i'll ever use lemartes because of his jet pack (i plan to usually mount them in a drop pod or rhino). sorry, the only thing he can ride in is a storm raven as it allow jump infantry to embark in its rules.

as for descent of angels, you might have missed that *ANY* blood angel model with a jump pack has descent of angels; the rules are strangely listed in two spots, one under the descent rule and the other under the jump pack rules. so, buying the death co jump packs will give them descent.

Jump Infantry CANNOT be placed in vehicles (because only infantry are given permission to) apart fromt he stormraven.

So if you have a JI IC attached to an infantry squad you cannot embark them in a drop pod.

Secondly all models in the unit must have DoA if you want to use it - so no DS terminators with only 1D6 scatter

Finally - DoA does NOT affect any vehicle you are embarked in, so you cannot DoA a deeps triking landraider...

ALL models with a jump pack in the BA army have descent of angels - says so in the equipment section under the Jump Pack entry.
