Would Hellcannons be ok to use for ard boys for TK catapults? Obviously crewed with skeletons and perhaps even more bone stuff decorated.

I don't see why not.

It would be obvious you were not playing WoC and you would have decorated it with the right themes to make it look like a TK unit.

I would call it okay but look out for all the a$$ that will try and get an advantage.

Ard boyz is WYSIWYG. You would need to green stuff and make it look different then a normal hell cannon who replace the crew with skeletons. That wouldnt cut it imo. I would want to see some sort of conversion attempt.

I think crewing it with skeletons and perhaps adding some bone bits would be fine. Especially if you're consistent... i.e., all of your catapults are hellcannons with bone stuff and skeleton crew, rather than a mix of some conversions and some actual catapult models.

I think this would be ok too, I can see a magical cannon being able to fire flaming skulls, definately try to make it look like it's made of bone and like ragged cloth or something though, and remove as much as the chaos iconography as possible.

you could green stuff a giant femur and when it's hardend drill out a whole in the middle.

I think its funny the TK catapult is so annoying to assemble people rather use expensive hellcannons

Model wise: i'd remove all icon's and keep a consistant theme in colours to your army.
The obvious skelly crew and TK army should help show you dont just have a random hell cannons


after all, they make constructs from wood, bone and metal, sounds like a hell cannon to me.


I say paint it up to match, add in a new crew and your good to go.
