Does it really matter what color the chest eagles are? Also, how do I know what color to make the helmet?

um, yep blue helmets are devestators yellow are assault squads, tactical have the red helmets and honour guard have gold helmets, as far as chest eagles go, you can do them whatever you like, more currently i've seen a lot of dark grey ones and even bone, but ages ago they were gold.

Red = tac
yellow = assault
i dont remember = devi
gold = vets

Chests Ive seend black and bone. I use black personally.

Yellow chest eagles also look quite good.

Well it seems as though you have already received the answers you were looking for. I paint my chest aquillas in a NMM sark metal color. I didnt care for black and also experiemented with white, gold, and silver. The darker tones of the grey look great with their armor. Everyone will have their own opinion of this though. Try testing it yourself, there is no wrong color for the chest.

I'm on the darker gray shades for the chest eagles myself...
