I've been reconsidering my plat style lately. Used to mix special weapons in squads to cover all grounds, but came to wonder lately why I was doing so since the army works better when 2 squads assist each other to begin with. One to bust the tank and then one to kill the content.

As a result I came up with the following list. Comments and suggestions appreciated:

[HQs: 439]
Canoness: Blessed Weapon, Inferno Pistol, Cloak of St. Aspira, Book of St Lucius, Frag Grenades
Celestian retinue x 5: VSS, Meltagun x 2, Eviscerator
Immolator, EA, SL

Canoness: Jump Pack, Mantle of Ophelia, Cloak of St. Aspira, Book of St Lucius, Eviscerator

[Elites: 340]
Celestian x 5: VSS, MG x 2, Combi-Flamer, Immolator, EA, SL
Celestian x 5: VSS, MG x 2, Combi-Flamer, Immolator, EA, SL

[Troops: 1083]
Sisters x 10: VSS, Heavy Flamer, Flamer, Book of St Lucius, Combi-Flamer, Rhino, EA, SL
Sisters x 10: VSS, Heavy Flamer, Flamer, Combi-Flamer, Rhino, EA, SL
Sisters x 10: VSS, Heavy Flamer, Flamer, Combi-Flamer, Rhino, EA, SL
Sisters x 10: VSS, Heavy Flamer, Meltagun, Book of St Lucius, Combi-Melta Rhino, EA, SL
Sisters x 10: VSS, Heavy Flamer, Meltagun, Book of St Lucius, Combi-Melta Rhino, EA, SL

[Fast: 230]
Seraphim x 8: VSS, Handflamer x 2, Eviscerator, Book of St Lucius

[Heavy: 405]
Exorcist Tank

Total cost is 2497. 13 faith points. 75 sisters and 11 tanks.

Basic strategy is moving the 3 immolators forward to deliver the Meltaguns. First three rhinos screened behind to burn out whatever comes out of transports. Should the Meltaguns fail, there is 4 eviscerator to fall back on. Three of them very mobile. Two angelic visage bubbles and plenty of books around to be able to martyr some vets while keeping the stubborn bubble coverage

The fourth sister squad stays home to provide backup for the exorcist, hopefully in cover, and guard the home objective.

EDIT:

Made some changes to the original list. I am trying to stay away from Inquisitorial troops since Im not really a fan of them even if they're the one of the few ways to include plasmaguns.

I did away with two books and a seraphim squad to include a fifth sister squad which is also a little more all-around then the first three. I like the celestians since they're an easy way to field 2 cheap meltaguns and an immolator. It's only three Immolators on the field and from experience they take a lot of fire so less then that it would be suicide for the squads being carried.

Not going to lie. That is a ton of power-armored girls.

It probably wouldn't do that badly. People are always a little nervous when you start dropping those AP1 templates on their heads.

It reads like a standard, just bigger, sisters list. There are, therefore, no complaints.

For a 2.5k list, I can't help but feel that you don't have enough troops. It's more of a preference thing, but I'd probably drop 1 squad of seraphims and maybe a couple of upgrades here and there. In their place, I'd get either another squad of battle sisters in rhino or 2 squads of melta (or plasma) inquisitorial storm troopers in rhinos.

I agree with your insight. don't mix weapons; if you know you have to kill a certain kind of target get a unit with the right weapons for the job to go kill it, rather than compromise the effectiveness of all your units in a mad scramble to cover all bases.

Cannonness: A+
Sisters: A+
Seraphim: A+
Exorcists: A+
In a 2500 point game 4 rhinos doesnt seem like enough to me; they may have the firepower to stop that many, and then the sisters are nearly out of the game. I think you should be running 6 at this points level. It's hard for me to comment on the Celestians because I haven't seen them played, I just know you can make a vicious, ugly, nasty army using only those 4 elements above.
