The official GW website has offers that change in the top right corner and they are stupid as they are all like free shipping on items costing £10 or more, next day delivery on items £10 or more, that is virtually everything on the websit, thang God GW made one financial mistake

I doubt it's a mistake. The £10 limit would just be there to ensure they don't make a loss on those few small sales that are under that amount.

Just offering free shipping is all well and good, but it's not always cost effective on small orders.

Spelling mistakes? Check. Overuse of emotes? Check. Point that absolutely nobody else really cares about? Checkarooni.

Free shipping on orders of 10 GBP or more ain't no thang. It's not like any of us actually shop on the GW website anyway.

I don't know about that SRM, alot of the blisters are becomeing direct order only...

To the OP, free shipping is always awsome, its like getting $10 off your order.

And really, GW apparenlty saves so much on overhead from selling from their online store, it only makes sense that they would give us that shipping for free.

I'm not saying its the best thing ever, I'm just saying you have to take what you can get sometimes.

Not everything. I bought some GKT Psycannon arms (which they still sell, thankfully) on their website. Came out to be about 12 USD before shipping. I threw some round bases on there and actually got it for the same price as if I paid for shipping. They've offered free shipping (in the states at least) for orders 15 USD or more for about a year now. This is really nothing new. Also, the magic thing about retail is that you can fiddle with cost and price such that if you, say, jack up the price in July, and then offer free shipping, and someone bought a price-adjusted Tac Squad box, you'd probably still be making money. At worst breaking even for that item with the notion that they'll come back and buy a more expensive, higher profit-yield item.

Don't worry for GW. They're a corporation; they don't make financial mistakes.

It was meant to be half joking, but seriously though: As much as the price gouging is pissing people off, they're still reporting profits and their stock is up almost 100% from their 52 week low. Free shipping is not the financial mistake the OP thinks it is. If only they paid dividends...
