Anyone know what those sensors above their head, usually to the left or right are? I mean, I know they're sensors, but does anyone know specifically?

But at least it's mounted high and to one side, not on the forehead.

If the old Space Hulk video game can be considered in any way canonical, those sensors also transmit information to the Brother-Sergeant, so that he can monitor all of his squad (and see them get ripped apart by Genestealers).

Again, that's all part of the Sensorium; each individual Sensorium can be linked to allow the Sergeant to better direct the squad.
