Hello everyone, here is my first blog with my WIP CSM's. I finally got some pics of what i have been working on, up on Dakka. Please check out my gallery to see all of my pics. Some of the models are done, and others are like 90% done, and I still have a bunch that are only primed. I will take more pic's as things become finished, but I thought that I would start with something to look at.

Please be patient as I get the hang of how to do things on here, feedback is welcome, and help naming my Army would be greatly appreciated!

First some questions: How are they aligned, Undivided or one god? When did they leave the Imperium; Horus Hersey, or independently? What is there fighting style?

With a little bit of thought on the fluff a name should be easier to come up with.

What about The Followers of Blood?

Nurgle is my god of choice, but the army I would have to say is Undivided. They fell from the imperium during the horus heresey, and have an "in your face" fighting style. I will come up with some more fluff, and backstory for the army, but that is the basics of the questions that you asked.

indiana - The name does sound good, but they are not the followers of Khorne. I do like Khorne as a god, but my play style is more of nurgle. I use my DP currently as a Nurgle DP with wings, and usually roll in with some rhino's full of Plague Marines, or regular CSM's. I guess now that I think about it, I do pretty much follow one god, and that is Nurgle. I guess if I am not using any troops that follow a different god, and just use regular space marines along side the Nurgle ones, then I am following one god, Nurgle.

Thanks a lot Cain, I have had a lot of fun painting and modeling them. My B-day is friday, and I am hoping that I get some more marines to play around with.

Nurgle eh? Then what about Followers of Pox or Brotherhood of disease? Love the colours scheme by the way but if its nurgle i'd go some washes of green or brown?

Hm, the black armor makes me think about words like, black (duh), darkness, oblivion and so on, maybe even eclipse. Orange makes me think of carrots....or C-vitamin, perhaps the sun, or hope. even. I'm bad with names =/

Anyway, I'm liking the big contrast of the scheme, looking forward to seeing more.

No idea what to call them, but your scheme is very striking. I don't see enough orange flavored CSMs, and yours definitely look good.

Legion of the abyssal flame? Just a thought for the name, don't know how good it is.

Eclipsed Suns?

A pretty good looking force so far, but the problem with painting them black is that it is then very difficult to add shadows and depth to the armour. Have you thought about painting them a very dark grey, and then washing them black?
